Yes, our pieces are microwave and dishwasher safe, however some dishwasher detergents are abrasive so handwashing when possible is the best way to preserve the shine and prevent fading over time. To prevent thermal shock never take a piece from the refrigerator and put it straight into the microwave or hot oven. A sudden change in temperature can cause a piece to crack or shatter. Always put oven safe pieces in a cold oven to heat up slowly. Do not put cold water on a hot ceramic dish.

Yes, all our functional ware designed for the kitchen is food safe and dinnerware safe. We use all lead free, non-toxic glazes. If your piece that you have ordered is decorative or designed for trinkets or rings for instance, it may not be dinnerware safe (able to withstand forks and knives). Your care card will indicate if the piece is not dinnerware safe, but all our glazes are non-toxic.

Please read the item description carefully as we do not accept returns unless you did not receive the item you purchased. Please contact us with any problems with your order and we will do our best to make it right. All custom orders are final sale as they are made specifically to your wishes. We take care to pack your items securely and your package is fully insured. If your item arrives damaged, please contact us and attach photographs within 10 days of receiving your package. We will replace your item; however, the lead time can be 4-6 weeks depending on the stage of production if we do not have the same item or a reasonable replacement available at the time.

Each piece is handmade so size and glazing variations can occur. We do our best to have accurate descriptions and photos for our pieces, but your monitor may not display colors exactly like ours. Some may vary slightly from the image but will be noted in the description if the item you are purchasing is not the exact item pictured. Most of our pieces are one of a kind since none are cast or commercially produced.
